The 'Great Adventure' for Christians is when we pass into the presence of God.

The Great Adventure

We cannot know,
what life has in store
for us,
but, we can be sure,
that the greatest adventure
will be when we're called to the next life.

Death is the door,
into the presence
of God,
where we shall receive,
all that God has promised those,
who now believe and now receive him.

For us to be with Christ,
is far better than the best we now know,
no sin and sorrow,
we will be made new,
to be like Him,
in glory.

The planted seed,
in dying brings forth
new life,
wonderful the change,
from the seed into the flow'r:
our new life will be most wonderful.

2.
Christ will then rule,
and we will be there,
with him
all will worship him:
'King of kings, and Lord of lords'
and forever praise his holy name.

We shall reside,
in those new mansions,
he made,
and with joy we shall
walk those streets he paved with gold,
and rejoice in the glory of God.

For us to be with Christ,
is far better than the best we now know,
evil, and sickness,
they will be banished,
and he will rule, for ever.

We need not fear,
our future is safe,
in him
we are now secure,
kept by faith until that day,
when our Lord will take us home with him.
